この日、私はとてもやさしい気持ちでした。

そっと、後押しできるような「go」。
強い「go」ではなく、
温かく優しく柔らかな、包み込むような感情。

誰かを応援するのにも、様々な在り方があることと想います。

goには「行く」だけでなく、
向かう、進む、赴く、上がるなど、
様々な視点があります。

多くの方がこの作品に触れて、
「胎児のよう」と表現してくださいます。
私自身は、そうイメージしたわけではありませんでしたが、
人それぞれの見え方、人それぞれの表現に触れると
いつも「面白いなあ」と感じます。

この作品は、大好きだった祖母が
亡くなった後に書いたもの。

意識はしていなくとも、
何か、生命につながるような
感覚があったのかもしれません。

That day, I felt a very gentle sensation.

A “go” that could softly support me.
Not a forceful “go”, but rather
A warm, kind, and light feeling that enveloped me.

I think that there are various ways to encourage someone.

Various nuances exist in go,
Not only “move”, but others
Such as depart, advance, and rise.

Many people behold this work,
And express to me that, “it is like an embryo.”
Although I myself did not imagine it that way,
When I behold each person’s outlook, each person’s expression,
I always think, “how intriguing.”

This artwork is one that I created
After my beloved grandmother passed away.

Even if I wasn’t conscious of it,
I might have sensed something
Connected to her life.
